Rowtown Records warmly welcomes London D&B producer R-Vee, who has already had several releases on our former label Soul Bros. Records. His unique tracks always have a high recognition value and a soulful breeze, no matter how punchy the beats and nasty the bass is. The passionate skater R-Vee manages to find the balance between rough, steppy Drum & Bass and melodic Liquid Funk. The beats are hard as nails, the basses wobble, the arrangements are ingenious and prove to be highly club-suited. The sound bed in the form of soft Rhodes chords, selected samples and well-chosen vocal shreds as well as effects, snuggles into the ear and flatters the listener in the living room or on the road via headphones. The "True Colours EP" with four tracks goes through beautifully without straying too much out of line, is on the one hand very relaxed and creates a thoughtful mood in you, on the other hand you can dance to it wonderfully without being distracted by too much complex harmony and melody stuff - it's basically skater music on Drum & Bass!
