New Crib - a true story. Somewhere in the middle of southern Germany in a rather well-off area on the edge of the Isar valley: A nice elderly lady decided to rent a cosy attic apartment to a poor homeless artist with a disastrous financial situation below the subsistence level and no guarantees at all, and to support him with all sorts of favours and generosity. Almost around the corner there is a foundation that provides badly situated people with food and other necessities, where many very nice people from the surrounding area volunteer to help out of charity, and sometimes offer private help outside the framework. It is more than obvious that the universe has arranged everything in such a way that this artist can have a dignified life and delight you with his music. A huge thank you to all helpers!
The "Smooth Version" represents the priceless feeling of being comfortable in one's home and surroundings after a long and very exhausting time, and all tension is released. The "Rough Version" is supposed to express the power and the absolute will, especially in hard times but also otherwise, to manifest through focused thoughts and imagination what you want to have in your life.
With this spirit we start into the new decade and can already announce some awesome releases planned for this year here at Rowtown Records, and not only from Rowpieces!
